After getting back to the basics in the win over Purdue, the Spartan rush defense faces arguably its toughest test of the season. Maryland boasts the No. 11 rushing attack in the nation, averaging 246.3 yards per game. Only Wisconsin runs the ball for more yards in the Big Ten. Against Illinois last week, Terrapins running back Javon Leake rushed for 140 yards on only five carries.
