A 4-under-par 284 by the MSU men’s golf team on Sunday has put the Spartans in fourth place after the opening round of the Quail Valley Intercollegiate in Vero Beach, Florida. MSU was one of five teams in the field of 16 to shoot under par at the Quail Valley Golf Club and is five shots back of the tournament leader – Arkansas State.
