The Michigan State women’s golf team is tied for ninth place after the opening round of the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tennessee. In a highly competitive field that features seven teams that ended 2017-18 ranked in the Golfstat top 30, the Spartans shot a 6-over-par 294 on Friday at the Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course.
