Michigan State running back Austin Andrews announced on Friday he is transferring, just a week away from the Spartans’ season-opener. The redshirt sophomore from Columbus, Ohio, came to Michigan State in 2016 as a three-star cornerback. After redshirting his first season, he played in only one game last season and was suspended for Michigan State’s Holiday Bowl victory over Washington State.
