There’s no more talk of the “three-headed monster” or the “hot hand” this Michigan State football preseason. Now, the discussion of Michigan State’s running back situation is much simpler. “LJ’s got to be the workhorse for us,” Spartans’ co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach Dave Warner said, referencing senior LJ Scott. “That’s why he came back, you know. He’s going to be the guy that’s going to carry the ball hopefully 20, 25 times per game or more if need be.”
