Greatness in sports is often and easily overstated. I mean, just look at this headline. So let’s begin here: Michigan State’s football team doesn’t have a single proven great player on its offense. What the Spartans have are moments of greatness. And the potential for individual and collective greatness. And they’ve got it in spades.
