Bill Beekman has been serving as Michigan State’s interim athletic director for more than four months. And, don’t expect the university to hire a permanent replacement for the position soon. “I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon,” Mosallam said of hiring a new athletic director. “I think you’d want a new president to hire the AD – that’s my position.”
