Michigan State is among the favorites in the Big Ten this fall after finishing 10-3 in 2017. They will play two of their non-conference games in Spartan Stadium as they prepare for the rigors of nine conference games. The season will open on Friday, Aug. 31, at home against Utah State. The lone non-conference road game will come on Saturday, Sept. 8, when the Spartans travel to Tempe to take on Arizona State. This should be the biggest test Michigan State gets outside the Big Ten.
