Nearly everywhere Parks Gissinger looked growing up, there was competition. While staying with his four older brothers at his father’s testosterone-dripping home dubbed the “frat house,” there were clashes in the weight room, on the basketball court and in circuit training. Even “all-out war” volleying back and forth on the ping pong table.
