The Spartans arrived in Detroit on Wednesday night and had a mid-afternoon practice before meeting with the media and then taking part in an open practice from 3:25 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena. A large crowd of MSU fans came to the open practice, which was free of admission, as the team went through its 40-minute workout.
