The 13th-ranked Michigan State women’s golf team stands in third place after two rounds of play at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Spartans are 12-over-par 588 for the tournament after a 16-over-par 304 in Monday’s second round. The Spartans are four shots back of tournament leader and 18th-ranked Florida, and three shots behind No. 11 USC. MSU leads fourth-place North Carolina by three shots.
