Following a Holiday Bowl win against Washington State, Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio was presented with a cake commemorating his 100th win with the program. It was a fitting way to cap a resurgent year as the Spartans (10-3) set a program record for the biggest single-season improvement at seven victories.
