Tom Izzo’s philosophy on the Big Ten title race is well known now after 23 seasons: Play well enough through the first three quarters of the season to be mathematically in the picture in the last two weeks, then try to bring home a banner. “I’ve always said that you want to be in a position in the last two weeks,” Izzo said on Saturday. “You want to be in a position to mathematically be able to win a championship.”
