At 23-3 overall and 10-2 in Big Ten play, Michigan State would likely be sitting pretty in the conference title race most years. This season, though, the Spartans are currently stuck in third in the league with six games to play, looking up at Purdue (12-0) and Ohio State (11-1). MSU is by no means out of the Big Ten title hunt, but the next five days will go a long way in determining Michigan State’s chances entering the closing stretch.
