It would be easy to be bummed for Damion Terry, if it weren’t so pointless. Terry, the former Cathedral Prep superstar who will finish his college career when No. 16 Michigan State meets No. 18 Washington State in Thursday’s Holiday Bowl in San Diego, isn’t nearly as apoplectic as some people think he should be over the fact that he never matched his high school success with the Spartans. In fact, his unselfish, all-for-the-program perspective on the trajectory of his five years at MSU is made of stuff you’d like to bottle up and hand out — free of charge — to the me-first masses.
