Michigan State is headed to California for the first time since its Rose Bowl win against Stanford to cap the 2013 season.The Spartans (9-3, 7-2 Big Ten), No. 16 in the final College Football Playoff rankings, will face No. 18 Washington State (9-3, 6-3 Pac-12) in the Dec. 28 Holiday Bowl in San Diego. It will mark Michigan State’s first trip to the Holiday Bowl and Washington State’s fourth, including a 17-12 loss to Minnesota last year.
