Michigan State spent seven games without Miles Bridges last season. The fifth-ranked Spartans might be looking at another spell without their superstar after Bridges hurt his left ankle during Sunday’s 93-71 win over Stony Brook. Coach Tom Izzo said his sophomore did not have a high ankle injury, but called him “day-to-day” after Bridges turned his foot while stepping on a defender while driving to the basket. He did not return from the locker room.
