Tom Izzo, Spartans expecting a challenge from North Florida in season opener
Following months of anticipation and three exhibition games, the second-ranked Michigan State basketball team finally opens the regular season tonight against North Florida. MSU enters the season opener as almost a 30-point favorite, but even with a game against No. 1 Duke looming on Tuesday, there won’t be any Spartans overlooking the Ospreys.
