The Spartans have morphed from a run-heavy team to a pass-happy bunch the past few weeks. Quarterback Brian Lewerke has thrown 113 times and completed 63.7% of his passes the past two games, totaling 845 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions. The sophomore went 33 of 56 for 400 yards in last week’s upset of Penn State, becoming just the third Big Ten QB in the past 20 years with back-to-back 400-yard games.
