I couldn’t stop staring at Jaren Jackson Jr.’s arms Thursday night. Hanging by his knees. Or covering 8 feet side to side. Or swatting shots — eight of them, in Michigan State’s 80-72 exhibition win over Ferris State. And I couldn’t help but to think how much the Spartans needed Jackson’s arms last season. Sophomore guard Joshua Langford was thinking the same thing.
