Since Kenny Willekes received a scholarship and started looking like a viable option on Michigan State’s defense line, his storyline has been one to follow. Not only did MSU clearly need help at defensive end after some serious offseason attrition, but also everybody loves when a walk-on proves the doubters wrong and emerges as a contributor. But for head coach Mark Dantonio and his MSU team, Willekes is much more than a feel-good story.
