Michigan State’s defense couldn’t seem to do much right a year ago. Only 11 sacks. Inability to force turnovers. Struggles with deep passes and getting off the field in third-down situations. Second-half fades. In a college football blink of an eye, the Spartans have changed everything. The sacks and turnovers are starting to come in bunches. Defensive backs are locking up receivers. All of the issues appear to be corrected.
