After opening the season with four straight games at home, Michigan State faced its first road test of the season on Saturday night at rival Michigan. It was the first trip away from Spartan Stadium this fall but coach Mark Dantonio, citing the short distance to Ann Arbor and expected support of visiting fans, said “it could be worse.”
