Michigan State has just a few spots left in its 2018 recruiting class. With 18 players committed, the Spartans likely have room for a maximum of three more. One might be a running back or a defensive back. One might be a wide receiver. It’s pretty clear one spot will go to a defensive lineman. Don’t forget about James Head, the Miami Southridge defensive end whom Michigan State offered in May. He committed to Indiana in July, but that hasn’t stopped him from keeping his options open.
