In the glow of a Big Ten-opening win over Iowa, a defensive domination like days of old, Mark Dantonio gave his players Sunday off from practice. While Michigan’s preparation for Michigan State began more than a week ago, Michigan Week in East Lansing would have to wait a day. “We have 24 hours before we get to that,” Dantonio said after Saturday’s 17-10 grinder of a victory over the Hawkeyes. “You just sort of have that in the back of your mind the entire year. We’ll wait on that until tomorrow. Our guys will enjoy tonight and be ready to go on Monday.”
