Three wins, nine losses. Mark Dantonio still hates to say it. Hates the way it sounds. Hates that it’s part of his tenure as Michigan State’s head football coach. Hates that after nine seasons of winning, of championship-level football, nothing he tried a year ago could keep MSU from its worst record in over three decades. He didn’t see it coming. No one on his staff did, either.
