Morten Andersen came to Michigan State in 1978 as a freshman who had played just one season of high school football. In fact, he’d only been in the United States for one year, after moving from Denmark. But Andersen found success quickly, in a record-setting career at Michigan State. He then sustained that success through 24 NFL seasons, during which he set the league record for points scored.
