Alexander isn’t a household name for MSU fans, as he’s played in only three games since coming to Michigan State as a walk-on out of Forsyth (Ga.) Lambert in 2014. But Alexander was one of the first two players Frey mentioned last week who had a strong spring on the defensive side of the ball. While most of that spring was conducted behind closed doors, the 6-foot-3, 247-pound Alexander had a good showing in the spring game on April 1.
