Michigan State basketball target Brandon Johns has big weekend with Tom Izzo watching
It’s evaluation season for college basketball coaches, who are spending their weekends watching top prospects at events throughout the country. Indianapolis was the place to be this past weekend with Nike EYBL and Under Armour events in town, and Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo was there looking at prospects. Among the top performers was East Lansing’s own Brandon Johns, who is one of Michigan State’s top targets in 2018.
