Lea Foerster improving as Spartan softball’s best hitter
Entering MSU softball’s matchup against the University of Toledo on Wednesday, junior outfielder Lea Foerster had reached on base in 34 consecutive games. The streak continued Wednesday as the 5-foot-8 junior was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning of the Spartans’ 13-7 win over the Rockets and reached on base for the 35th straight game.
