With Bridges back, MSU will return 78% of its scoring and 81% of its rebounding from this season’s 20-15 freshman-dominated team that made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Spartans are expected to have just two seniors, Tum Tum Nairn and Gavin Schilling, and could have a third if Ben Carter receives a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA. They lose Alvin Ellis, Eron Harris and Matt Van Dyk to graduation .“I knew I was going to get better,” Bridges said, “but I would rather stay here and get better with my teammates and become a better person with them.”
