OLB/DE Torey Zanders’ talks Michigan State offer, his first from Power 5 school
In recruiting, it always helps to have good people in your corner. Torey Zanders seems to have that. His cousin, former Savannah State defensive back Jamaal Zanders, handles his recruiting and sends tape to coaches. The efforts had been working, with Appalachian State, Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky all extending offers. But Torey, a 6-foot-3 junior linebacker at George Walton Academy (Monroe, Ga.), hadn’t reeled in a Power 5 conference offer … until Thursday.
