Faced with making the easy decision to leave, Miles Bridges made the hard decision to stay
Mom didn’t look particularly thrilled. On stage in front of the bronze Spartan statue at the corner Kalamazoo Street and Chestnut Road, Miles Bridges sat alongside his sister, his father and his mother, Cynthia. Tom Izzo stood behind Bridges, his arm on his star’s shoulder. In this scene, Cynthia Bridges’ face told the larger story. She looked thankful for a crowd of 1,000-some-odd fans on-hand to cheer for her son. She looked proud that her son is one of the finest college basketball players in the country. She looked grateful that he has the option to go earn millions as an NBA player. And she looked concerned.
