Two-position standout? Michigan State likes Justin Layne at WR, CB
Justin Layne will wear his third number in his second season at Michigan State. He’s also added a second position.Layne began last fall as a wide receiver before transitioning into a starting cornerback as a true freshman. The sophomore played predominantly offense for all but four days of spring workouts but also pulled double duty at defensive back during the Spartans’ scrimmage Saturday.
