Michigan State listed at No. 5 in Sporting News’ way-too-early 2017-18 college basketball rankings
Sporting News released its “way-too-early top 25” for next college basketball season. Obviously, a lot could happen between now and November, especially with many uncommitted recruits and undecided underclassmen with potential NBA futures. Still, things are looking up for Michigan State. The Spartans checked in at No. 5 in the Sporting News rankings, behind only Arizona, Duke, Kentucky and Kansas.
