MSU spring game notes, observations: New starters, a coaching change
There were no shortage of surprises in the first teams that walked onto the field for offense and defense. On defense, former walk-on Kenny Willekes was a starter after not playing any significant reps in 2016. He had eight tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.
