Junior Bridgette Rainey and freshman Jordan Watson combined on a two-hit shutout as MSU downed visiting Maryland, 2-0. The Spartans (18-11, 2-3 B1G) only had four hits on the day, as Lea Foerster had an RBI double and Kelcey Carrasco also contributed a two-bagger on the afternoon. It was enough for the Spartans to record their third straight victory in as many games at home.
