Thirty-one years sure has a way of taking the sting out of disappointment. That’s how long it’s been since Michigan State and Kansas met in the Midwest Regional semifinal game at Kemper Arena in Kansas City and a stalled clock played a significant role in Kansas’ 96-86 overtime victory.
