Michigan State hasn’t played Miami (Fla.) since 2012, an ACC/Big Ten Challenge game in South Florida. The Spartans dropped the meeting, 67-59. On Friday, they’ll meet for the second time ever. Ninth-seeded MSU (19-14) and No. 8 seed Miami (21-11) tip off around 9:15 p.m. in the NCAA tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma (TNT).
