Couch: MSU’s NCAA tourney draw manageable, full of intrigue
In terms of matchups and storylines, Michigan State couldn’t have asked a better NCAA tournament draw. The Spartans deserved to be in the field of 68 teams. Beyond that, they had no right to be choosy. Relative to their other options, they might have chosen this. There is a plausible path to the second weekend, albeit still an unlikely one. And, for those of us covering or following their postseason journey, enough plots and twists to keep us occupied until tipoff.
