After getting Penn State back for a January loss, Michigan State plays a Minnesota team Friday in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals that it beat twice already in the regular season. Much has changed since a 65-47 beatdown at Breslin Center, though. The Gophers won eight straight before falling to Wisconsin to end the regular season and are playing some of the best basketball in the Big Ten. With that, MSU head coach Tom Izzo and his squad know they’re in for a big challenge Friday afternoon in Washington D.C.
