Michigan State will open the Big Ten Tournament by trying to do something it couldn’t do during the regular season: beat Penn State on a neutral court. The Nittany Lions beat Nebraska, 76-67, in overtime on Wednesday in the opening game of the conference tournament. That win moves the No. 12 seed Penn State on to face No. 5 seed Michigan State at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
