Michigan State freshmen ready for first taste of March Madness
Tom Izzo has been there before. Michigan State needed a strong showing Big Ten tournament in 2011 to keep Izzo’s NCAA tournament streak alive. The Spartans went to Indianapolis and won a pair of games, including one over then top-10 Purdue, to squeak into the 68-team field.
