Tom Izzo might know what he’s getting into, but none of his players have ever been in this position. For the first time since 2011, the Spartans (18-13, 10-8 Big Ten) will have to play their way into the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. This will be the fourth time since the tourney’s inception that MSU will partake in a Thursday game.
