Consultant role with Spartans gives Sheldon White ‘a different feel’
In his previous life, this would be Sheldon White’s busiest time of year.He’d be in Indianapolis, bouncing among hotels and meetings and workouts, watching prospects and talking with agents. He’d be gathering all of the intel needed at the NFL combine for the Detroit Lions to get ready for the upcoming draft.Instead, White is now helping Michigan State football players get ready for their big day in front of pro scouts and general managers like he once was, informing their families what to expect in the draft process. It’s only a small sampling of his loosely defined new job as a program consultant for Mark Dantonio and the Spartans.
