If Tom Izzo had it his way, the schedule would be set up so that his Spartans played their final two games of the regular season in the friendly confines of Breslin Center. That’s how any coach would want it, especially when a win or two would officially lock up an NCAA Tournament bid. At the same time, two road games, beginning with a trip to Illinois on Wednesday, might be the test Izzo’s team needs to pass ahead of postseason play.
