Michigan State vs. Wisconsin: Spartans seek big win over sliding Badgers
Michigan State is running out of chances for a signature win. In fact, with Maryland stumbling (MSU plays at Maryland next weekend), today’s home game against Wisconsin might be the Spartans’ last chance for a defining win in the regular season. It’s senior day at Breslin Center for the Spartans (17-11, 9-6 Big Ten), who host a 16th-ranked Badgers squad (22-6, 11-4) that has lost three of its last four games. While MSU is hoping to enhance its NCAA Tournament resume and improve its Big Ten Tournament seeding, Wisconsin still has Big Ten title hopes and trails first-place Purdue by only a half-game entering today.
