Standing in the Tigers clubhouse in Tiger Town, wearing a Tigers cap, A.J. Achter looked around and smiled like a kid.A kid who used to sit in the stands and watch this team play.“This is the team I grew up rooting for,” said Achter, a relief pitcher who is fighting for a roster spot. “It’s pretty dang cool, just putting on the uniform.”
