Tanner Hallock, Jack Mandryk pass on scholarship offers to follow dreams at Michigan State
Jack Mandryk and Tanner Hallock agreed that what they did Wednesday morning was a gamble, but it was a risk that they were excited and willing to take.Hallock, of Forest Hills Central, and Mandryk, of Hudsonville, participated in the annual ESPN 96.1’s Signing Day 2017 at Celebration Cinema North in Grand Rapids. The two seniors signed as preferred walk-ons with Michigan State University despite having scholarship offers from Grand Valley State University.
