Anytime Michigan State plays on the road, Tom Izzo requires any player who has never played in that building to climb to the last row of the arena during the Spartans’ shootaround. That row of seats is exceedingly high at Nebraska’s 15,000-seat Pinnacle Bank Arena. Way up there .On Thursday, only Tum Tum Nairn and Alvin Ellis III remained floor-level during a late-morning shootaround. They were the only Spartans to take the court when Michigan State last played a road game here, a 79-77 loss in January 2015.
